Job Description:

In this role you will be involved in planning and executing recruitment strategies to build and maintain the Greenpeace online database. You will also be involved in exploring and developing new online tools and strategies to achieve campaign and fund raising objectives, to optimize online communication, marketing and donation processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engagement pathways for potential and existing supporters that develop relationships and increase participation
  • Support to develop and implement response-driven marketing campaigns with the business critical analytics
  • Evaluate and analyze online and online-related funds and numbers
  • Plan, produce and evaluate email communications that deliver fundraising and/or campaign objectives
  • Plan and implement analytical strategies to recruit new online supporters
  • Segmenting, testing, scheduling and list management (by de-duping, designing and implementing list-building strategies) of the Greenpeace database
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment and engagement results and respond accordingly to documented trends
  • Analyze user behavior and make impromptu recommendations on list management and content improvement
  • Manage the database and perform operations that might help the online campaigns – testing, segmentations, list management and content improvement
  • Organise database for online donations and user details
  • Communicate with online supporters through E-mail with the support of the team
  • Explore new ways to reach out and implement strategies within team to achieve common Digital Media Team goals and plan online activities around a project or campaign

Qualification and Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in database tools – MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server
  • Adequate coding skills – HTML, CSS, PHP, APIs, web publishing skills
  • Excellent computational Excel and Access skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing response-driven online marketing campaigns
  • Experience in list management systems or other online publishing software
  • Understanding database marketing and ability to analyze and evaluate web and campaign statistics
  • Knowledge on analytical tools like Google Analytics, A/B testing tools and other tools which helps in forecasting
  • Understanding of visualisation and good analytical skills with presentation skills
  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrable experience in completing tasks
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability and experience in working with a team
