Responsibilities
- Perform data mining, data cleansing and validation, ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Standardize and automate queries in SAS using appropriate procedures, macros, arrays, doloops and SQL
Qualification and Skills Required
- Experience with the various styles of data analysis and business intelligence In Banking/
- Financial services Industry – reporting, dashboards, advanced data discovery, OLAP, data mining, geospatial analysis, etc.
- Understanding of the functional and technical concepts within the ETL and EDW domains
- Experience of creating reporting process from scratch
- Working proficiency with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and/or DB2 database management systems in order to analyze and profile data
- Expertise in SAS 9.2/ 9.3, SAS BI Module, Base SAS and Advanced SAS databases, SQL, VBA and MS Office
- Ability to automate data pull, data analysis queries in SAS and linking with VBA/SQL queries to produce automated reports and dashboards in Excel/PPT and other forms
- MTech/BTech (Information Technology), Masters in Statistics or Economics
- 7-8 years of experience
