Responsibilities
- Write Pig queries for data processing
- Submit, monitor and assess jobs submitted to Hadoop clusters
- If you have excellent Programming skills in java /python and sql, and if you are keen on working in Big Data Hadoop
- Customer Interaction & Consultation
- Writing algorithms & programs
Qualification and Skills Required
- Educational Qualifications MCA or BE Comp. or BE IT
- Professional Certifications Certification in Apache Hadoop Programming
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Good understanding of SQL concepts and stored procs
- Experience in one of the following technology combinations
- Pig and Python /Java
- SQL and Java with exposure to Hadoop and MapReduce concepts
- Experience in writing programs for processing structured & unstructured data, and handling huge volumes of data
- Experience with Hive will be a plus
- Understanding of SAS SQL will be an added advantage
