Responsibilities
- Responsible for invention, creation, development, optimization & monetization of predictive analytics & machine learning driven solutions.
- Use cutting edge data mining, machine learning techniques for building advanced recommender systems & matching algorithms to solve text mining, natural language processing, knowledge management & information retrieval problems
- Look at data and help verticals (Business Units) to come up with innovative business solutions with a compelling edge
- Highly front facing role with close interactions with organization’s large customers in consulting, convincing and making a successful bid for deploying analytics solutions
- Helping and guiding teams in exploring applicability of advanced analytical techniques e.g. Data Mining, text Mining, neural Networks, Support Vector Regression, Association Rule Mining, Data Envelopment analysis to come up with use cases and solutions
- Guide teams on blending of big data, analytics, visualization solutions
- Create strong differentiation in our Analytics offering
- Interact closely with Vertical Domain teams to jointly come up with solutions that apply to their customer sets
- Sales enablement and educating sales teams to take business solutions to customers
- Build a strong analytics practice; be responsible to hire a good set of analytics leaders with similar background around him/her.
- Help delivery teams working on customer projects to resolve critical issues
- All work related to typical practice management including business development, collateral, marketing, consulting and pre-sales activities
Qualification and Skills Required
- Ideal candidate should have 14 + years of relevant experience.
- Candidate must have intensive data and Analytics background to build and lead a strong Analytics practice for Syntel.
- Should have intensive Mathematics or Statistics background with focus on the application of mathematical modeling, optimization & large scale numerical computing to business problems.
