Responsible for delivering quality technical solutions that are part of a bigger process/project. Responsibilities
- Support the Network Linkage Engine team in India to lead and assist in the design and actual development of web applications. This tool is widely used by FIU Analyst working on AML Cases.
- Responsible for specific functional areas within the team, this involves project management and taking business specifications.
- The individual should be able to independently run projects/tasks delegated to him.
- Responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of system applications.
- Develop and maintain project related documentation,
- Provide system support and user support/training/communication for implemented applications.
Qualification and Skills Required
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent OR Master’s in Computer Applications or equivalent
- Min 3 -6 years of relevant experience desired.
- Expert on Hadoop Architecture having knowledge on Hadoop, Map Reduce, Hbase, Pig, Hive, YARN, Zookeeper , Solar, Sqoop, Flume.
- Must have recent hands on 1+ years web application development experience in J2EE (Struts/JSP/Servlet).
- Must be proficient with SQ, PL/SQL and stored procedures, Teradata experience would be plus.
- Should have recent experience using WSAD and deploying to Websphere 6.x.
- Experience in UNIX shell scripting is good to have
- Should have recent experience using WSAD and deploying to Websphere 6.x.
- Provides advanced knowledge of technical and functional principles.
- Effectively leverages General knowledge of the relationships that exist between all relevant functional groups within American Express.
- Should have experience in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of system applications
- Demonstrated ability to develop and document technical and functional specifications and analyze software and system processing flows.
- Experience with Perl and CVS are nice to have
