Through this plan, we aim to remove the confusion in learning data science for beginners. The biggest challenge which beginners face while learning data science is not dearth of learning material – but too much of it. As a beginner, you are not sure where to start learning, what to practice, how much time to spend on a concept, where to get the useful resources etc. For most of the beginners, this becomes overwhelming and they simply drop out before even learning a single skill.
This plan takes this confusion out. The path contains both theoretical resources as well practical examples. We have also provided you with resources / tests to apply your learning and benchmark yourself. As part of this plan, you will apply the concepts you learn on real-world problems and gain hands-on experience.
This learning plan is extremely useful to anyone who wants to learn machine learning, deep learning and data science. For the people who have been looking for a comprehensive action plan to help them sort the course of learning this is the best resource, you can lay your hands on. Awesome infographic and planner
Really great infographic, I was searching for the same, I want to make carrier in Data Science, so was searching for the blueprint for learning plan, it will help me a lot. Thanks
I m an avid reader of AV and believe it almost equivalent to a blessing for data science aspirants, however i have two basic questions The intro to probability course by edx is archived though its been rated as best course for probabilty and with other courses too the timeline provided is bit short as i feel timeline provided by courses instructors themselves is quite longer. Will one be at slight disadvantage as one pursues an archived course considering no assignments and grades and if even we go fast in completing courses still i suppose wouldn't our understanding of subject be compromised.
Hi Kunal, I am into learning Machine Learning algorithms and Data Mining techniques using Python for an year now. I have completed Certifications courses from Coursera, Udacity and Udemy. Statics and Probablity is covered from Udacity and Edx. Currently attempting competitions in kaggle and building Predictive modelling projects with data from Kaggle and public data sets. I am trying to get an internship in Chennai where I can implement my skill set along with gaining Industry expertise. I tried applying in AV portal but not sure if the application received the needed channel. Would you please guide me on this? Thanks in advance!
