Dr. Prosenjit Banerjee is a Computer Vision practitioner, dedicating over 16 years to this field across academic research and industrial R&D. He holds a Masters’ and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, specializing in applying Computer Vision to Multi-view Geometry, 3D reconstruction, and Production monitoring. His work spans multiple industries wherein he has applied CV techniques in Automotive, Automation, Condition Monitoring, Production Engineering, Digital Merchandising, Robotics, AR/VR, and Smart Camera applications to name a few, across several service and product organizations. Presently, he works as a Principal Data Scientist at Fractal.ai, leading and building the Machine Vision team.
