DataHour: An Overview of Computer Vision
About the Event
Computer vision is a subdomain of artificial intelligence (AI) that enables computers and systems to extract useful information from digital images, videos and other visual inputs so as to take accurate measures or make recommendations based on that information.
In this DataHour, Abhishek will be discussing various types of research problems one can face in computer vision such as image classification, segmentation, human tracking, image denoising, image resolution, etc. He will then demonstrate in detail the process to solve image segmentation problems. Lastly, he will be covering industry applications and real-world projects in this area.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of python packages, linear algebra, probability, and machine learning and most importantly and an enthusiasm for learning Data Science.
