DataHour: Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence

About the Event

Building decision support solutions in the real-world requires a combination of skills and technologies. It is a challenge to understand user needs, capture knowledge, and select the right inference approach. In this talk, we will look at some of the key steps and topics in architecting AI applications through the lens of several examples. Topics include capability measurement, knowledge representation, predictive functions, model learning, data biases, and generative AI. This talk serves as a survey to bridge the gap in explicit hands-on tool learning to the tacit knowledge that comes from developing innovative applications of AI in the real-world.
