DataHour: Towards Data Storytelling

About the Event

Human Beings are emotional by nature and we have been communicating through storytelling for centuries making it an integral part of our behavior. Just as we perceive information through visuals, we relate to stories to find meaning in the world around us.

From mere numbers or chart/graph visualizing those numbers, data storytelling is about weaving a compelling narrative around your data to drive business decisions. According to Gartner, data storytelling will be the most widespread means of consuming analytics by 2025.

A data analyst's job does not end with the Visualizations, but only when these outputs trigger the necessary actions from the stakeholders. Thus, it becomes imperative that data storytelling - "the last mile in data analytics", is done most effectively.

In this DataHour, Priya will explain how to excel in the skill of Data storytelling.
