Inferential Statistics is a continuous of the material covered in Descriptive Statistics.

Inferential statistics allows us to draw conclusions from data that might not be immediately obvious. This course focuses on enhancing your ability to develop hypotheses and use common tests such as t-tests, ANOVA tests, and regression to validate your claims.

This course will cover:

  • estimating parameters of a population using sample statistics
  • hypothesis testing and confidence intervals
  • t-tests and ANOVA
  • correlation and regression
  • chi-squared test

Course Contents

  • Lesson 1: Estimation
  • Lesson 2: Hypothesis Testing
  • Lesson 3,4: t-tests
  • Lesson 5,6: ANOVA
  • Lesson 7: Correlation
  • Lesson 8: Regression
  • Lesson 9: Chi-squared Tests

Projects

  • Perform an analysis on the dataset of your choice and write a complete and comprehensive write up about your finding
