Luis Serrano is the author of the Amazon Bestseller Grokking Machine Learning, and the creator of the popular educational YouTube channel Serrano Academy, with over 170K followers and 7 million views. Luis has worked in artificial intelligence and language models at Google, Apple, and Cohere, and as a quantum AI research scientist at Zapata Computing. He has popular machine learning courses on platforms such as Udacity and Coursera. Luis has a PhD in mathematics from the University of Michigan, a masters and bachelors from the University of Waterloo, and did a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Quebec at Montreal.
