About

Abhishek Chopde leads agentic systems for science and machine learning at Fractal AI Research. Over the past four years, he has focused on building autonomous, agent-driven systems that accelerate scientific discovery and the full machine learning experimentation lifecycle.
He is the creator of PiEvolve, an agentic ML experimentation platform that ranked #1 on OpenAI's MLE-Bench, outperforming leading AI labs with markedly higher compute efficiency. His earlier work at Fractal spanned large-scale deep learning and computer vision, including production systems for video understanding and model deployment at scale.
Abhishek holds a dual degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and continues to work at the intersection of autonomous agents, scientific research, and applied machine learning.
