Rishabh is the co-founder of Locale.ai, where he provides geospatial analytics to companies to help them analyze their ground performance using location data. Think providing Uber-like location intelligence to every company with moving supply and/or demand.
He previously used to work with SocialCops (now Atlan) as a geospatial engineer, where he worked with the Ministry of Petroleum to help them plan the next 10,000 LPG centers as part of the Ujjwala Yojana, FMCGs as well as multiple supply chain companies on several location-based projects.
Samiran Roy is currently working as a Senior Lead Data Scientist at Envestnet Yodlee. His role involves deploying Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Semi-Supervised learning-based products.
During his master’s in Computer Science from IIT Bombay, he worked on developing deep learning, reinforcement learning, and computer vision software. He also worked on a lot of cool AI agents for self-driving cars, robot soccer, Atari games, and Carrom.
Samiran interned in Scilab where he reverse-engineered functions from the Matlab Image Processing Toolbox. As a part of his MTech thesis, he developed a Multi-Armed-Bandit framework for autonomous agents to supervise their own training.
He has spoken on various topics around state-of-the-art in Data Science in various forums.
Arihant is currently the Staff Data Scientist at GE. He has six years of experience in Big Data & Advanced Analytics.
Arihant has worked in different domains like Banking, Fintech, Telecom, Digital & IoT to solve different complex business problems using Machine Learning & Deep Learning. He primarily works on leveraging data science, advanced analytics, machine learning and deep learning to deliver different Data-Driven Product / Intelligent Services/Systems.
He believes every number has a story to tell. In his free time, he loves to discuss different areas of Data Science and mentor aspiring Data Scientist.
Dr. Sarabjot Singh Anand has been involved in the field of Machine Learning since the early 1990s having worked on developing algorithms, applying them to real-world problems and training a host of data scientists in the capacity of being an academic and entrepreneur.
He has published over 90 academic papers on machine learning while an Associate Professor at the University of Warwick and previous academic posts in the United Kingdom. He has used these algorithms to develop solutions in areas as diverse as pay-per-click optimization, recommender systems, prognostic models for chronic illnesses, diver monitoring using CAN bus data, cross-selling and up-selling products in financial retail, churn prediction, house price prediction for the Telecoms, Financial, Retail, Automotive, Manufacturing and Public Sector. His first startup in Ireland won the European IST prize amongst other technology accolades.
Dr. Anand moved back to India in 2012 and co-founded Tatras Data. In 2018 he co-founded Sabudh Foundation in Mohali, Panjab to train engineering students in Machine Learning and to work on social problems in education, farming, governance and healthcare. Dr. Anand is currently adjunct faculty at IISER, Mohali.
