About this Contest

1. This contest involves finding a hidden shape in the dataset provided here and then sharing the shape on social media platforms. On Twitter, you need to mention us in your answers. On Facebook, you need to share the answer on our facebook page.

2. Participants should mention their name in the ‘Chart Title’ while sharing their answers.

3. If any participant shares the correct answer on social media but forgets to tag us, the entry will not be considered as a valid entry.

4. The dataset has been divided into five levels. First 4 levels will be released on 20th April 2015 (the awesome day!) at 10:30 am and the final Level 5 will get released on 21st April 2015 at 9:30 am.

5. The winners will be divided into various categories on whatsapp groups as per their answers & intent of participation in this contest:

  • If a participant downloads the file and successfully clears Level 1 will be categorized as AV Transitioner
  • If a participant downloads the file and answers correctly up to level 4, will be categorized as AV Beginner
  • If a participant answers correctly till the final level – Level 5, he / she will be categorized as AV Rising Star.

6. The participant completing all the five levels successfully with the least amount of time taken will be declared as the winner. The winner will get exclusive Amazon voucher!

7. After the winner gets declared, the immediate next 10 participants will win Analytics Vidhya’s merchandise.  In addition, few lucky winners will get the chance to attend webinars with some of the best analytics experts (for FREE!).

8. This contest closes on 21st April 2015 at 11:59pm IST. The winners will be announced on 23rd April 2015 on our social media channels.

9. The power of decision making in this contest shall reside with Analytics Vidhya. The decision will be fair and unbiased. No sort of concerns on the decision shall be entertained.

10. Analytics Vidhya has the authority of disqualifying any participate known to demonstrate unethical ways to win this contest. May be the best man win!
