Qualification and Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a data & reporting driven environment.
  • Proven experience with Business Objects and other reporting/dashboard/visualization tools (Spotfire / Tableau / QlikView) is required.
  • Advanced data modeling skills with an ability to understand how data, keys, tables and queries relate to one another.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex analytical/data-driven problems.
  • Proven experience with MS office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Access.
  • Advanced Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables, Charting/Visualizations, Reporting and Dashboard building experience, VBA a plus).
  • Advanced Access (working with large datasets, building tables/queries, VBA a plus.)
  • Experienced programmer in SQL/Oracle.
  • Exposure to one or more Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Tableau, Analysis Services (SSAS), Qlikview, Business Objects, SAS, Crystal, R, SQL/Oracle/Teradata, etc.
