DataHour: Modern Deep Learning Architecture

In this DataHour, the Modern Deep Learning Architectures will be discussed where attendees will have the hands-on session exposures on AlexNet, VGGNet and so on.

Prerequisites:  Enthusiasm to learn Data Science and some preliminary ideas on Machine and Deep Learning along with the basic knowledge on Python and Pythonic platforms like Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Mxnet would be beneficial. 

Sabyasachi Mukhopadhyay is a Research Scholar in the Center of Computational Data Science at IIT Kharagpur. He served as a University Faculty of Business Analytics and Statistics at School of Management Science, MAKAUT (Govt. of WB), WB, India. He was also the University Course Coordinator of BBA and MBA in Business Analytics at MAKAUT. Mukhopadhyay was a Project Scientist at Nanoscope Technologies for a brief period of time. He was the Kolkata Lead of Facebook Developer Circle till He is the ‘Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning’ , Champion Innovator-Cloud AI/ML (Google) and ‘Intel Software Innovator’. He is the Visiting Faculty at Symbiosis Center for Information Technology (SCIT) Pune, University of Calcutta, Techno India University and Webel Fujisoft Vara Center of Excellence. Mukhopadhyay received MS in Physical Sciences from IISER Kolkata and was the ‘Topper’ of 2015 batch. He is the ‘Paper Setter’, ‘Examiner’ and ‘Moderator’ of MAKAUT, SCIT Pune, University of Calcutta and Techno India University. He was the ‘Co-Founder’ and ‘Chief Research Officer’ of Twelit MedTech Pvt. Ltd and currently involved in startup mentoring activities. He has more than 55 publications which include patent, books, journals and proceedings. He received several international awards which include ‘Best Research Paper Award’, prestigious ‘SPIE Photonics Education Scholarship-2014’ (only 19 students from Asia, 144 students around world to receive that), ‘Most Inspiring Facebook Developer Circle Lead’ (twice), ‘Alumni Award 2020 by IISER Kolkata’ and so on.
