DataHour: Statistics with Python for Data Science

In this DataHour session, the speaker will provide you with an intuitive understanding of various statistical terminologies, modules, workflows and workflows using Python programming.

During the webinar, we will help candidates develop a mindset as to why we do what we do with the data. We will explore the relevance of statistics in Data Preprocessing and exploration, and discuss various stages in EDA. Hypothesis testing will also be covered, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of this important concept.

Prerequisites: Curiosity to explore the tech learnings required for any data science role.

Divyanshu Vyas is a Data Science Researcher at Shell and a Machine Learning & Data Analytics Consultant with a focus on Oil & Energy projects. He is also the Founder and Energy Data Scientist at Petroleum From Scratch, a company he established in July 2020. Prior to his current role, Divyanshu served as a Data Scientist at Accenture AI, and as a Subsurface Data Analyst at L&T Infotech.Divyanshu's expertise in the field of Machine Learning and Data Science is evident from his impressive teaching and mentoring experience. He has delivered lectures and courses on various topics related to Python and Machine Learning for the Oil & Gas industry at several renowned institutions like IIT ISM Dhanbad, PDEU Gandhinagar, and SPE MIT WPU, among others. He has also conducted training and workshop sessions at various international locations, including Baghdad, France, and Kazakhstan.
