DataHour: The Art of Feature Engineering

Feature Engineering is one of the most important parts of modeling. What sets your model apart is your thought process behind the creation of the features. Understanding the business problem and analyzing the data accordingly is what will help you achieve that.

In this DataHour, Debadri will explain all about feature engineering from scratch. He will also demonstrate how to apply it practically using two real life industry use cases.

Prerequisites: Zeal of learning Data Science and Basic idea about modeling and feature engineering

Debadri Dutta is Currently working as a Sr. Data Scientist at Pfizer in the Manufacturing Intelligence team. He completed his B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from KIIT University in 2019. He developed a keen interest in Data Science and had done a research internship in the Data Science Dept. He is a Kaggle 4x Expert and has taken part in  a lot of Data Science Hackathons and competitions. He has worked as a Data Science Intern at Trell and then ZS Associates. Previous to Pfizer he was working as a Data Scientist at Societe Generale and till now has around 4 years of work-experience in the Data Science Domain.
