DataHour: The Future of GenAI

About the Event

GenAI is now everywhere and every day we see new and impressive advances in this technology. Businesses have begun to explore what can be done with GenAI, how the technology can create value and how risks can be appropriately managed. The speaker will also discuss the challenges businesses face when they decide to implement future GenAI solutions.

There is a distinct difference in the perception of GenAI by businesses and by the public. In the public eye, GenAI has moved from text to text, text to image, and now text to video. This development drives the public discussion which is becoming dominated by worries about deep fakes and GenAI facilitating the spread of misinformation. AI Regulation is scaling up with Europe leading and the US beginning to address the misuse of the technology. The speaker will end the presentation by giving an outlook on how he sees the future of GenAI and its impact on our lives.
