As a postdoctoral fellow at Umea University, I leverage the power of computer vision to unlock new frontiers in technology and research. I am particularly interested working on Convolutional deep learning with application in image processing. These applications hold the key to solve various future social and medical problems. I have been working on image processing (on both natural and medical images) using deep learning algorithms for the last five years, and proposed a family of models to deal with segmentation problems. My work can be seen on google scholar with a specific application in brain tumor and brain tissues segmentations using a convolutional neural networks.
