Head of Engineering

Exp: 8+ years

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the domain of Machine Learning and AI, someone who understands the distribution of knowledge through and among community, someone who can passionately take Analytics Vidhya from India’s largest data science community to World’s largest & most valued data science community. Should have experience of building web & mobile products and maintaining them at a scale of at least a million MAU.

 

Experience

  • Experience of creating web scale architecture and infrastructure to support our growth
  • Python Full stack with expertise in at least one web framework (Django, Flask, web2py, Tornado etc.)
  • Knowledge of PHP and WordPress would be an advantage, especially migration from WordPressMongoDB (or other NoSQL databases like Neo4j)
  • Knowledge of Javascript and AngularJS
  • Knowledge of machine learning is Desirable

 

Requirements

  • Ideating & building products to create the NextGen ecosystem of data scientists
  • Managing a super enthusiastic team of backend, front end and full stack developers
  • Managing and migrating web hosting on the cloud (AWS)
  • Designing, creating and rolling out first of its kind mobile app for Analytics Vidhya
  • Understanding the requirements of different teams, prioritising the same and getting them deployed within timelines
  • Should have great understanding of UI & UX
  • Should have played a key role in full cycle of product development – ideation to production to growth
