This position requires a combination of strengths including a facility with quantitative analysis, data modeling for analysis and analytical technologies like SQL, Data Mining and Data Warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Use Numerify’s analytical platform to build advanced metrics and data transformations models that answer critical business questions.
• Design and develop predictive analytics and statistical models that are repeatable, scalable and robust using R
• Understand business domain analysis requirements and identify abstract analytical/mathematical patterns that support the analyses
• Work with Product Managers & Developers to bridge the gap between business analysis requirements and data model capabilities
• Research, identify and propose specific predictive analytics use cases and scenarios based on available data and models
• Advise services and operations team in developing customer specific analyses

Qualification and Skills Required

• BS/BE in Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics
• 5 + years of experience in data sciences, modeling and analysis across descriptive statistics and predictive analytics
• Solid understanding multi-dimensional modelling and OLAP concepts
• Facility with numerical calculations, data analysis and descriptive statistics
• Mastery of SQL
• Experience in data discovery using off the shelf analytic software packages like Tableau, MicroStrategy Visual Insights or Spotfire
