Job description:

To be an independent data scientist and senior resource capable of doing various statistical modelling and predictive analysis for dynamic pricing, customer segmentation and better business decision making

Responsibilities

• Work on advanced data analysis to provide insights to different types of users
• Identify behavioural and attribute based clusters using clustering techniques
• Conduct predictive analysis to create various what-if scenarios to drive organizational planning and marketing strategy
• Be the go to person for all statistical modelling/analysis in the organization

Qualification and Skills Required

• Education, qualifications and training
• Graduation OR Post Graduation in Statistics from Indian Statistical Institute with 0-2 years of experience
• Strong statistical knowledge and hands-on experience with statistical tools and techniques
• Demonstrated capability to provide meaningful and actionable insights based on data analysis
• Strong communication skills
• Significant experience in predictive modelling and statistical analyses
• Strong capability of running multivariate regression models using SAS/R
• Ability to conduct cluster analysis on large datasets
• Good understanding and working experience with multiple data sources
• High level of comfort with receiving, loading, cleansing, enriching & enhancing transactional data sources
• Ability to proactively come up with solutions requiring minimal guidance
• Should be a strong team player
• Specialized knowledge required – Good to have
• 0-2 years of experience in statistical modelling/customer segmentation/predictive analysis in a quant-heavy organization
• Candidates with strong business sense and problem solving capabilities preferred
