Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to collaborate with Equifax-Atlanta to provide high end analytical solution in order to develop the best in industry products.
Work on diverse generic risk/marketing models based on bureau data
Perform statistical analysis on newly developed generic risk model or existing generic model
Perform necessary analysis, such as data quality assessment, analysis to define performance window, historical window, dependent variable, interaction variable creation etc.
Conduct complex statistical analysis under the supervision of a Senior Statistician/Product development expert
Ideate project execution plan
Create model development design document along with timelines for all milestones
Analysis across credit, fraud and insurance arenas
Complex data assessment and integration from multiple platforms as required for analytical purposes
Create detailed documentation outlining design and technical specifications of each solution

Qualification and Skills Required

Masters in any quantitative discipline: Statistics (preferred)/Economics (preferred)/Math/Engineering/MBA etc.
3-4 years of experience in BFSI
Experienced in building logistic and linear regression models, knowledge of alternative methodologies is a plus
In-depth knowledge of the business problems in financial services. Knowledge of bureau data is a plus
Very good knowledge of SAS. Good to have exposure of UNIX/WPS/R/S-Plus/SPSS, but not mandatory
Candidates with Big-Data analytics exposure will get additional weight age

Ready to adept in dynamic environment to align individuals with organizations goal
Works well with all other teams/departments
Verticals- Auto, Communications, Mortgage, Payments, Retail Banking and Insurance.
