Problem Statement: There is a report that you need to convert into a presentation for a stakeholder meeting. 🔗 Report
I tested NotebookLM by uploading a 40-page research paper and tasked it with creating a presentation. After processing the document, it produced an 8-minute video complete with visuals, key data points, and narration. The output was impressive: a polished, minimalist presentation featuring:

Problem statement: You need to prepare for a meeting regarding Directorate General of Foreign Trade and also create a briefing document and a presentation for the same.
I needed to prepare for a meeting on India’s foreign trade policies, so I turned to NotebookLM with a website containing 10 complex policy documents. In one go, it delivered everything I needed:

Problem Statement: You need to prepare for an interview and you have all the sources available, but do not have time to sit and read through them and you need a quick guide to help you revise all the key terms.🔗 Source 1, Source 2, Source 3
For my interview preparation, I needed NotebookLM to analyze three sources and create a podcast combining relevant information from all of them. Instead of converting a single source to audio, you can select multiple sources first. Then, enter your prompt in the central text box for example, I used: “List all key data science interview topics and essential focus areas from these materials.” After generating the response, use the “Save as note” option at the bottom to later convert it into an audio format for on-the-go listening.

Click on it and you will find that this chat has been saved as a note and you can now access it from the right side “Studio” panel.
Now you click on this Note, and at the bottom left corner, you will find the button to convert it as a source.

Click on it and you find it in the “Sources” Panel on the left side of the screen. From these, you can select it and convert it into the form you need. I wanted to convert it into a podcast, and hence I clicked on “audio overviews.”🔗 Link to the audio
To prepare a study guide for my preparation, I selected all the sources and simply clicked on the Reports section and selected “Study Guide.”
The tool generated a 21-minute podcast covering all my interview preparation needs, plus a concise study guide for quick revision. If this isn’t the ultimate preparation aid, I don’t know what is!
Problem Statement: I have a video, a document, and some websites that I need to go through for a competitive analysis on Flipkart (e-commerce website). Sources: Website, Youtube, Document

For this task, I used NotebookLM to analyze multiple input sources and generate a comprehensive mindmap of Flipkart’s business. After uploading and selecting all the materials, it instantly created a structured visual breakdown, covering market dynamics, competition, logistics, and other key aspects, making complex information easy to navigate.
